Final Thoughts

A sweet, playful return to Dream Harbor, filled with small-town charm, great friendships and the comforting sense of community that makes this series so enjoyable.

The friendships and adventures woven throughout the story are some of its strongest elements, bringing warmth and personality beyond the central romance. One of the best parts is returning to a familiar town, catching up with its residents and seeing the different relationships and friendships develop.

The romance is considerably more explicit than the cosy atmosphere might suggest, and some of those scenes felt unnecessary when the characters and their relationships were already engaging enough on their own. Overall, though, this is an enjoyable, lighthearted read with plenty of charm, humour and a lovely sense of community.
